It's a wrap! GÖMMER HEI (LET'S GO HOME)
Thanks to new technologies and the openness of direction and production, I was able to do this shoot in job sharing with the committed Lidija Burcak because of my upcoming birth. It worked great. Now we are curious about the result.
Synopsis
“Gömmer hei” is a psychological drama about a single mother who fled from Eritrea to Switzerland. Semret does everything to give her daughter Joe a better life. When the teenager wants to learn more about her origins and her culture, her mother forces her to face her past.

Finished shooting of RASPBERRIES WITH MUSTARD!
The studio shoot and a short corona-related re-shoot of the children's and family film RASPBERRIES WITH MUSTARD have just been successfully completed. The last few days have been long but exciting.
The film is produced by Zischlermann Filmproduktion (DE), in coproduction with Amour Fou Luxembourg, Turnus Film (CH), Phanta Vision (NL) and Neos Film (DE).
The main shoot took place in mid/late August to late September.
A wonderful, sweet story, lovingly staged by Ruth Olshan and authentically embodied by many young and old talents.
Synopsis
13-year-old Meeri Ehrlich has three problems. First: She is in love - but with the wrong person. Second, her mother is dead and she desperately misses her. Third, her father is an undertaker and is looking for a new wife. In return, Meeri has something very special that only belongs to her - she can fly.

Awards and nominations for BAGHDAD IN MY SHADOW
BAGHDAD IN MY SHADOW was nominated in 3 categories for the SWISS FILM AWARD - prix du cinéma suisse - premio del cinema svizzero 2020:
best feature film, best script and best editing - and won the prize for best editing.
BAGHDAD IN MY SHADOW also won the coveted audience award at the Solothurn Film Festival 2020.

About me.
Continuity is my passion.
I love reading scripts analytically. Does it all make sense? Is there perhaps anything which is not clear enough? While shooting, I find the logical aspects of the script also especially fascinating. I may join in the thinking process along with everyone else and I also think ahead and maintain an overview of what has already been shot and of the scenes which are going to follow.
I like being my own Head of Department but also being a member of a team in which all work together on making a film with passionate commitment.
I deeply appreciate the close, always intriguing and always changing collaboration with the director and the actors.
Every take, every scene, every day of filming and every film is unique!
Born and raised in Zurich.
Foundation course and film studies at Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK).
2007 attended FOCAL script/continuity course led by Barbara Krieger.
2009 graduated from ZHdK with a Bachelor of Arts in Film.
After my studies, at first contracted as production assistant as well as freelance jobs as director’s assistant.
2012/13 work-study year in Paris.
2013 work experience in script supervising.
Freelance script supervisor since 2014.
